07/04/2021. Goffs: Land Rover Graduates To The Fore at Fairyhouse

The Easter weekend saw a trio of high profile wins for Goffs graduates at Fairyhouse, led by Irish Grand National winner Freewheelin Dylan who made history as the longest priced winner ever of the race at 150/1.  Trained by local trainer Dermot McLoughlin, owned by Sheila Mangan and ridden by Ricky Doyle, Freewheelin Dylan was sold by Ballincurrig House Stud to Shane Donohoe at the 2015 Land Rover Sale.

Land Rover graduate Ashdale Bob added another Grade 2 to his record when securing the Grade 2 Colm Quinn BMW Novice Hurdle for Jessica Harrington and owner Diarmuid Horgan. He was sold at the Land Rover Sale in 2018 by Larchgrove Stud to the Time Out Syndicate.  Jeff Kidder meanwhile followed up his recent Cheltenham Festival success with a win in the Grade 2 Rathbarry & Glenview Studs Juvenile Hurdle for Noel Meade and owners Albert Dravins & Eamonn Scanlon. He was sold as a foal at Goffs in 2017 by Middlelane Farm to Ballinvana House Stud for €16,500.
