Pinhookers have enjoyed fantastic success sourcing from Vinery’s weanling drafts, with numerous graduates delivering significant returns. Highlights include the Zoustar x Lomandra colt, purchased by Grenville Stud at the 2025 Magic Millions Weanling Sale and later sold at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $900,000.
Embrace Aberdeen, secured for $80,000 as a weanling, was subsequently resold for $180,000 and has since won two of his six starts in Hong Kong. Another standout result came from the All Too Hard x Testa Sarah colt, who realised $26,000 as a Vinery weanling before being resold for $165,000 at the New Zealand Ready to Run Sale, along with Vinery weanling graduate, Strait Acer, who has won almost $1.5 million in prizemoney.

This colt is the fourth foal from winning More Than Ready mare Meow, a half-sister to Stakes winners GLOBAL WARMING and PURE PURRFECTION, the dam of OUTBACK BARBIE. His Ole Kirk, yearling half-sister made $200,000 at Magic Millions this year.
He is by Exceedance who stood for $30,000 in 2024 and sired three Group winners this season, the only third crop stallion to produce more is Too Darn Hot. His yearlings sold to $300,000 in 2026 and averaged $195,000 at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale which was up from his $140,000 average at last year’s Magic Millions. She is from the third crop of Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside who has already produced three Stakes winners in his first crop including Gr.3 Breeders’ Stakes winner INCOGNITO who is also out of an I Am Invincible mare.

This colt is the second foal from imported, multiple Stakes winner HOT LITTLE THING who won five of eight starts including two as a juvenile. The first foal from the mare is a yearling filly by American sire BLAME.
He is from the first crop of Golden Slipper winner SHINZO who is out of Gr.1 Blue Diamond winner SAMAREADY. Shinzo’s first weanlings have been exceptionally well received this year and sold up to $600,000.
