Japanese Stars opt to Skip Dubai

 

The Shadai Thoroughbred Club announced on March 4 that Masquerade Ball and Jantar Mantar will no longer travel to Dubai for their scheduled Group 1 assignments later this month.

 

Masquerade Ball, a four-year-old based in Miho with trainer Hisashi Tezuka, had been preparing for the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan on March 28. Jantar Mantar, the five-year-old trained in Ritto by Takano, was pointing toward the Dubai Turf on the same program.
