Lot 17 – Ole Kirk x Lady Cuvee (NZ) Filly

This filly is the first foal from Gr.1 placed Lady Cuvee who is a multiple-winning daughter of Savabeel. This is also the family of multiple Gr.1 winners RANGIRANGDOO and SHOUT THE BAR. Savabeel is a proven broodmare sire with his daughters producing the likes of Gr.1 winners NEVER BEEN KISSED, ICEBATH, WARMONGER etc.

She is from the second crop of exciting young sire OLE KIRK who couldn’t have had a better start to stud, producing two pre-Christmas 2YO Stakes winners in KING KIRK, the Gr.3 Breeders’ Plate winner and O’ OLE, the Wyong Magic Millions Classic (RL) and the $3 million Magic Millions Classic (RL) winner. This filly is the full sister to the talented multiple Stakes-winning colt GROWING EMPIRE who has been Gr.1 placed and was 3rd in the $20 million The Everest. She is the fourth foal from the Stakes performed Miles Of Krishan, who has also produced Group placed Dancing Alone and unraced 2YO Miles Of Glory (I Am Invincible) who has shown promising ability in her early trials.

This colt is the third foal from multiple Group winner WHITE MOSS, a half-sister to Stakes winner WHITE SAGE and Runway Runway, the dam of Stakes winner FOX SWIFT. This is a family loaded in black type with his second dam being the Champion 3YO Sprinter in New Zealand, PAY MY BAIL.

This filly is the second foal from Gr.1 VRC Oaks winner ARISTIA who is a half-sister to Gr.1 Oakleigh Plate winner MARABI. Her second dam is the Gr.2 winner and elite broodmare NAKAAYA. Her half-brother by Zoustar was purchased for $750K at the 2024 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

She is by Horse of the Year Maurice, a superstar of Japanese racing and the sire of 9 Stakes winners and over 130 individual winners. Maurice is among the leading sires in both Japan and Australia where he has left Classic Champion HITOTSU, top-flight sprinter MAZU and Group winner BANK MAUR.
