High Class Entries Added To Goffs London Sale

More high class two-year-old winners, a sister to Modern Games, multiple Group winner Cadillac, a breeding right to Havana Grey, and three Camelot weanlings bred to Southern Hemisphere time are among the latest entries for Goffs London Sale in association with Privat 3 Money. 

26 Lots are currently catalogued for the eve of Royal Ascot sale at Kensington Palace Gardens, and there is potential for a select number of wild cards to be entered over the coming days.   

Cartesienne, a 6YO Pivotal half-sister to Poule d’Essai des Poulains and Breeders Cup Juvenile winner Modern Games, in foal to Lope De Vega, is Lot 21.
The online catalogue and video footage will be available on Monday along with details of Royal Ascot targets.  The current London Sale lots are:

Lot 1  Breeding right to Aclaim (9yo Acclamation)
The sire of this year’s 1000 Guineas winner Cachet.
 
Lot 2  Breeding right to Ardad (8yo Kodiac)
The sire of 20 individual two-year-old winners in 2021 including Gr 1 winner Perfect Power.
 
Lot 3  Breeding right to Havana Grey (7yo Havana Gold)
Leading first crop sire and current leading sire of 2YO winners in Europe 2022.
 
Lot 4  Fiach McHugh (3yo g Belardo)

Two wins and a second from his three starts this year, this progressive 97 rated 3yo most recently impressed when winning at the Curragh on Irish Guineas weekend.
 
Lot 5  Harry Time (2yo c Harry Angel)

A winner on debut, he looked a very smart two-year-old winner with the Racing Post commenting “went clear, pushed out, comfortably”.
 
Lot 6  Hoo Ya Mal (3yo c Territories)

Winner of the Convivial at York at two, this 105 rated colt finished third on seasonal debut in the Craven Stakes (GR3) behind Native Trail and second to Nations Pride in the Newmarket Stakes on his most recent start and runs in the Derby today at Epsom.

A winner on debut, this twice raced colt caught the eye when a fast finishing second on his most recent start in Newbury. Good international racing prospect.

Mick Fitzgerald returned to his Wexford roots this week to meet Altior’s younger brother, Lot 93 in next week’s Goffs Land Rover Sale. 

He chatted to owner Kevin Doyle and consignor Peter Nolan about their hopes for the sale and to see how the son of Camelot compares to dual Champion Chaser and ten time Grade 1 winner Altior who is enjoying his retirement at Mick’s home in Lambourn.
