On ThursdayJanuary 13 from 3-5pm French timeARQANA Online will hold a sale of two stallion shares, a breeding right, three National Hunt horses-in-training and one broodmare.

share (1/50th) in the young Aga Khan Studs stallion Zarak is lot 1. Already the sire of 18 two-year-old winners in his first crop including Group 1 placed performers TIMES SQUARE and PURPLEPAY as well as Group winner LIZAID, the son of Dubawi out of the excellent ZARKAVA already has a full book from a stud fee of €25,000 in 2022. The share entitles you to one nomination per year, plus an additional bonus nomination any odd-numbered year (one nomination in 2022 and one nomination plus an additional nomination in 2023).

breeding right to Territories is offered as lot 2. The sire of the excellent Prix de l’Opéra (Gr.1) winner ROUGIR, the young Darley stallion is already the sire of 11 Stakes performers. Standing at Dalham Hall Stud for a fee of £10,000 in 2022, the son of Invincible Spirit is from the family of SHAMARDAL and STREET CRY. The breeding right gives the right to one nomination a year.

Lot 3 is a half-share (1/100th) in Al Wukair. Standing at Haras de Bouquetot and the winner of the Prix Jacques Le Marois (Gr.1), he is the sire of 15 two-year-old winners in his first crop including DESTINY QUEEN, VIRULENTE, WAGGAD, FAMILY TRIP, JERIMADETH and SOPRAN VIENNA, all winners on their debut. The half-share gives the right to one annual nomination. He stands for a fee of €8,000 in 2022.

Listed-placed at Auteuil, BECQUASCENTHE is lot 4. A half-sister to the very talented Grand Prix d’Automne (Gr.1) winner GRANDE HAYA, she is offered in foal to Doctor Dino with a last service date of February 17. Her first foal, a son of Doctor Dino, was sold for €73,000 at the 2020 Autumn Sale.

Buyers will also have the opportunity to purchase three promising young jumpers led by the unbeaten WHY (lot 5). A winner on his debut at Dieppe, the Erwan Grall trained gelding followed up by nine lengths over hurdles at Pau. The five-year-old by Tin Horse is from the family of Auteuil Listed winner and Group-placed RUSQUELA.

runner-up on his debut at Pau, the David Cottin trained DUNGARVAN is lot 6. The four-year-old son of Dunkerque is from the close family of multiple Group winner LE GRAND LUCE.

The Mikaël Mescam-trained ROYAL DEVIL completes the line-up as lot 7. A four-year-old gelding, the son of American Devil made an impression on his second start over hurdles at Pau when beating his rivals by seven lengths.
