• G1 Prix de l’Opera winner Rougir topped the sale, bought for €3-million by Peter Brant and the Coolmore partners.
 
• Five mares brought seven figures, with four in excess of €2-million.
 
• With its first sales consignment, Nurlan Bizakov’s Sumbe sold three of the top five lots; in addition to Rougir, Speak Of The Devil brought €1.95-million from Peter Brant.
 
• Wildfeder, a three-quarter sister to last week’s 2.2-million gns Tattersalls December Mares Sale top lot Waldlerche, herself fetched €2.05-million, with Gestut Ammerland buying out the partnership with Newsells Park Stud.
 
• The aggregate of €32,217,000 was up 70% from last year’s corresponding session and almost €7-million clear of 2020′s cumulative aggregate.
 
• The average was up 71% to €209,201, the median was up 14.7% to €86,000 and the clearance rate dipped slightly to 73%. Figures were also well up on the corresponding session of 2019.
