  • The Very Best of Kool Kompany

Excitement is building ahead of next week’s DBS September Sales (3-4) which will offer one of the top 2014 European two-year-olds in Kool Kompany on Thursday at Lot 305A. See his Sirecam footage here. The Middleham Park raced colt was purchased at the 2013 DBS Premier Yearling Sales by Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock for £40,000 and has been making headlines since winning on debut in April earlier this year.    The son of Jeremy won his first three starts in succession, culminating in the Listed Alfred Nobel Rochestown at Naas (video below). He attained his first Group 2 victory in the Railway Stakes at The Curragh in June (video below), beating War Envoy and Cappella Sansevero who sold to Sheikh Fahed Al Thani for £1.3 million at the Goffs London Sale just two weeks before.    Kool Kompany then made it back-to-back Group 2 victories when traveling to France and producing a tough performance to win the Prix Robert Papin at Maisons-laffitte (video below) before finishing a close second in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at The Curragh on August 10 (video below).    Kool Kompany will be sold with entries in the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes, Group 1 Middle Park Stakes, Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes and Group 2 Champagne Stakes.    To view his pedigree, click here.
