Yorkshire Oaks Odds 2014 – Taghrooda Set For the Knavesmire
This is the big race for Fillies at the York Ebor meeting and is one of the most prestigious races on the racing calendar in the UK. It is a Group One for three year old fillies and older and is very often contested by fillies who have either won or come close to winning the Epsom or Irish Oaks. Indeed Alexandrova won both of these races in 2006 before taking the honours in this, giving her an Oaks treble
The Yorkshire Oaks is a race that is more often not won by horses from the really big yards, such as Sir Michael Stoute or Aidan O’Brien. John Gosden won the race in 2013 with The Fugue and he will have another chance this season with Oaks winner Taghrooda set to take his chance as the hot favourite.
