Yin Jie (Joao Moreira) holds off Pitstop (Azhar Ismail, outside) to claim the IRT Juvenile Stakes in 2012.

Along with excellent prizemoney, a bonus for each race is up for grabs for any two-year-old sired in Australia and sold through one of the two auction houses at a public auction.

If a non-Australian sired or sold horse wins any of the six lead-up races, the respective bonus for that race will then jackpot to the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe on Friday, 17 May 2013. Should a non-Australian sired or sold horse win the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe then the remaining bonus money, taking in any previous bonus prizemoney not having been paid-out, will then be paid to the connections of the Australian sired and sold horse that won the greatest amount of prizemoney during the series.
