Continua il periodo esaltante per il fantino Giuseppe Cannarella, protagonista assoluto delle prime tre prove in programma nel convegno di galoppo, in scena ieri sera all’ Ippodromo del Mediterraneo di Siracusa. Il successo più importante arriva con Every Promise, nella condizionata, Premio Tunisia, che impegna gli anziani sui 1200 metri della pista sabbia. Il portacolori di Manuel Balsamo, ritornato al successo dopo l’opaca, si porta al comando sin dalle prime battute per allungarsi senza troppa fatica, già poco dopo l’ingresso in retta d’arrivo. Nulla da fare per gli attesi Imperial State e per il rientrante Kylach Me If U Can, arginati al secondo e al terzo posto. La tripletta per l’ispiratissimo Cannarella comincia a concretizzarsi già ad apertura, nella vendere per cavalli di 3 anni, ingaggiati sui 1300 metri della pista sabbia, abbinata alla II Tris Nazionale. Qui, Miramont Lady passa di prepotenza al comando, ai 150 metri dalla meta, e si impone su Cold Storm, dal buon rientro. Solo terzo il favorito Costitutional, atteso dopo la buona prestazione del debutto sulla pista. Chi non delude le aspettative è Pignolata, ancora sotto la direzione Cannarella. Dopo percorso effettuato dalle retrovie, si presenta minaccioso in retta d’arrivo. Da lì confeziona una straordinaria escalation che lo porta al successo in totale controllo. Buon secondo posto per il battistrada Vettory Lachy che anticipa sul podio Teubesly. Finale mozzafiato nel Premio Albania, handicap discendente sui 1500 metri della pista grande per i 3 anni e oltre, sottoclou del convegno. Dopo un vibrante testa a testa Siciliano Bello, montato dal solito Sebastiano Guerrieri, beffa sul traguardo Playfule Dude. Terzo giunge Thesan, autore di ottima progressione finale.
