Ecco i rimasti all’ultimo forfait:GRAN PREMIO DEL JOCKEY CLUB G2 – 2400 metri pista grande: AETHOS, AMORE HASS, CHASEDOWN, CIRCUS COUTURE, ELBERETH, FULL DRAGO, GRAN PIERINO, GREAT AVENTURA, HARBOUR A SECRETKHAN, LA GRANDE BELLEZZA, MAC MAHON, MENUHIN, MUSHIBEST, PARVIZPOETIC DREAMRED VERDONSAVOIR VIVRE, TIME TO CHOOSE, TRAFFIC JAM, TROUBLEMAKER, VOICE OF LOVE, WAY TO PARIS. (23)

ABSOLUTE SILENCE, ACIRE XAM, AFFIRMATIVE REPLY, AMERICAN OXYGENBAKCHICH GAME, BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE, BENAZZI, BIG RIOT, BIZ HONOR, BONITA FRANSISCA, BRIATEKE, BRUSKIN’S FORCE, CHECKMARK, CRACKING ART, DAVANTI SAN GUIDO, DE BRUYNE HORSEDENAAR, ELIXIR OF LIFE, ETABETA, FA UL SCIUR, FIGHTING IRISH, FIL FEDE XAM, FRUTIREU, GIVE A BREAK, GOLD CHEF, GOLD TAIL, IFRAME, INFINITY DREAMER, INTENSE GLARE, ISOLE CANARIE, JACKFINBAR, KABIR, LEONIO, MET SPECTRUM, MISS BAR BEACHMISS SIENNAMOVE OVER, MUGHAL, NEVERENDINGLOVE, PERFECTLY FROZEN, PIER CESAR, PLEASE HAVE FUN, POETA INNAMORATO, PONTHYEU, ROYAL YOUMZAINSAFFO, SESTILIO JET, SOFFIO DEL VENTO, SOPRAN ROCCIA, SUMMER FESTIVAL, THE WAY OF BONNIE, VALERIA, WAIT FOREVER, WAY BACK, WEAVER OF LIFE, WHENINDOUBTSMILE, ZINIA DEI GRIF ( 57 )

Dansili’s With You Takes the Reservoirs

4th at DVL, Gr. Stk, 80000 G3 Prix des Reservoirs – Etalon Kendargent (8f) Winner: With You (GB), f, 2 by Dansili (GB)

With You | Scoop Dyga

By Tom Frary

IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU

It has been a lean year for the French juveniles, but it could be that the best has been saved until last as ‘TDN Rising Star’ With You (GB) (Dansili {GB}) dominated this end-of-term test with a performance hallmarked with Classic promise. Emphatic on her debut when successful by six lengths over this mile trip at Saint-Cloud on Sept. 21, the full-sister to the same connections’ G1 Prix de l’Opera heroine We Are (Ire) was backed into 7-10 favouritism and was sent to the lead soon after the start by Aurelien Lemaitre. Travelling easily there, the imposing bay shook off Connivence (Fr) (Motivator {GB}) from early in the straight and stayed on powerfully under hand riding to register a 2 1/2-length verdict over Altea (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}).

With You has the jump on We Are at comparable stages of their careers, with the latter unable to race at two. She proved a quick learner once she did make the track in 2014, taking the G1 Prix Saint-Alary on her third start only to later be stripped of it due to elevated testosterone levels resulting from a tumor, but she later made amends by winning the Opera in which she was also third in 2015.

Pedigree Notes…

She is one of now four black-type performers out of the G3 Prix de Flore winner In Clover (GB) (Inchinor {GB}), also alongside Dream Clover (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) who captured the Listed Prix de la Cochere and Listed Prix de Saint-Cyr and was third in the G3 Prix de Lieurey and her listed-winning full-sister Incahoots (GB). The G3 Prix de Royaumont-winning second dam Bellarida (Fr) (Bellypha {Ire}) counts among her descendants the G1 Hong Kong Vase-winning champion stayer Dominant (Ire) (Cacique {Ire}), his G2 Lennox S.-winning half-brother Es Que Love (Ire) (Clodovil {Ire}) and his SW and MGSP half-sister Listen In (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}). Others of note include the Australian group winners Adjusted (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}) and Observational (GB) (Galileo {Ire}) and the G3 Chartwell Fillies’ S. scorer and G1 Matron S. runner-up Lily’s Angel (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) and her half-sister Zurigha (Ire) (Cape Cross {Ire}), who placed in Dubai’s G2 Cape Verdi and G2 Balanchine. In Clover’s 3-year-old colt Call the Wind (GB) (Frankel {GB}) will race for this stable, while she also has a yearling full-sister and foal full-brother to the winner and We Are.

Champion Classic Empire Retired to Ashford Stud

Classic Empire

Son of Pioneerof the Nile had not raced since Preakness Stakes.

Classic Empire , the 2016 champion juvenile male for owner John Oxley, has been retired from racing and will stand at Coolmore America’s Ashford Stud.

Trained by Mark Casse, Classic Empire had not raced since finishing second in the May 20 Preakness Stakes (G1). The son of Pioneerof the Nile  was expected to be the favorite for the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1), but was forced to miss the final leg of the Triple Crown because of a hoof abscess.

“Unfortunately, we just ran out of time to get him to the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1),” explained Casse. “I could never get him completely over his foot abscess and it wasn’t possible to train him the way I needed in order to bring him back at the highest level, which is where he deserved to be. He’s an extremely talented horse that can do anything and he overcame a lot of adversity to achieve what he did. I still believe he was the most talented horse of his generation.”

“Classic Empire was an exceptionally talented 2-year-old,” added Ashford’s director of sales Charlie O’Connor. “Not only was he the champion 2-year-old, but he backed it up again this year with a grade 1 win at 3. His brilliance on the track is reinforced with a pedigree full of black-type that traces back to Harlan’s Holiday. We couldn’t be more excited to be standing him.”

A fee will be announced at a later date.
